John P. James
John P. James has been a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar since 1980 and 1986, respectively. He is admitted to practice before all State Courts in New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, the District of Connecticut, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. He received a B.A. with honors from the University of Connecticut in 1971 and is a 1979 cum laude graduate of Western New England College School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. James is a frequent lecturer on the law of maritime personal injuries and serves as a mediator in maritime personal injury cases. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the American Association for Justice, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. James has a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV.
